Can you blame Barney?  This loyal beast has had to stand by and watch these monsters attack his master and family for eight years, and now the bum wants to make nice?  Somebody should put the idiot reporter on a leash.  It’s amazing that Barney was able to show such restraint.  Terriers got ‘tude.  I love dogs and have been around them my whole life — which is why I would never approach any dog like that.  Dogs are conservatives, dude.

My own dogs followed this story last night with great interest and amusement.  We are really going to miss Barney Cam.  When I become President, the Secret Service will have an easy time of it because I’m gonna surround myself with German Shepherds and Barney’s offspring.  The press will think twice before coming on the property or writing drivel.

I’m shocked that the headline wasn’t “Innocent Obamedia Reporter Viciously Attacked by Barbaric Republican Dog.”  Too bad Barney’s bite is worse than W.’s.  Maybe we wouldn’t be having this conversation today.

Exit questions: Did anyone catch the line in the video that the Obama’s are getting a puppy?  Did I mention that dogs sense evil?  I certainly hope that a dog-loving aide is taken on to care for the dog, or I’m calling PETA.  And donating.  Can you imagine what Obama puppy media coverage will be like?  Can you say potty training in the historic White House?
