Say hi to the Sarahcuda; UPDATED

Now’s your chance.  Share a little encouragement with the one who took the real hits for us.

HATCHET JOB UPDATE: I am inclined to point out at this time a sweet little reminder that the forces attacking Palin at this time would not be doing so if they were not afraid of the threat she poses to them in the future.  Four years is a very long time — anything can happen — but rest assured the bad guys won’t be sleeping when they could be digging up stuff to point back to when they need it later.  McCain’s camp does not and will not understand what Palin did for him.  To me they represent the sheer and utter cluelessness that has become the RNC.  And don’t think for a second that Team B.O. will blink twice before cutting off any competition at the knees at the first opportunity.

UPDATE (11/7): Here is absolute proof of Palin’s popularity among conservatives:  Just from our little obscure trackback to Michelle Malkin’s website that yesterday alone we had 403 page loads, and several of you were kind enough to leave your appreciation to her in the comment thread below.  Though I’m not surprised, I am really touched and encouraged myself.  I hope that Gov. Palin is able to read all of our well-wishes and that they give her a boost during this difficult time.

And they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery…

  4. Sarah,
The faceless men must fear you, if they are continuing their attacks after the election is over. I hope you stick around.

  5. Dear Sarah,

You showed more class and courage than any other politician in recent memory, second perhaps only to Ronald Reagan. You kept true to your core values, even though you were squeezed and pushed and prodded by Mccain’s campaign and the disgusting troupe of clowns that pass for main stream media in this country. Even worse to me to witness were the catty, immature and often vulgar comments directed towards you by other women…women who claim to be feminists, women who claim to want to see a woman finally punch through the highest, hardest, glass ceiling in the US.

Well if this is their idea of feminism, then I reject it. I reject the notion that a woman should be fair game for target practice, or in this case a public stoning just because she dares to be a conservative. How shameful for all those women of the 60s and 70s who so proudly marched and protested and demanded equal rights for women…my big sisters in a way. I grew up as you did, Sarah in the shadow of their courage. I looked up to them, even though some eventually supported what they feel is the ultimate woman’s right—the right to murder her unborn child. It was because of their courage, I was able to join the Army at 18 and serve as a helicopter mechanic a career path previously open only to men. It was because of their courage, women all around me joined the workforce and made marvelous careers for themselves and learned to be self sustaining economically and find self fulfullment within themselves and not attach it to their husband.

I’m sorry for those who take such teenagerish delight in trying to torment you, because you are who you are…intelligent, devoted to your faith, family and values, unashamedly patriotic, and deeply and uncompromisingly conservative. I stand united with you Sarah and all the conservative women in our country who for years have listened to the snickers and derision of our “sisters” because we stand firm in what we hold dear…just as they do, yet more often than not they are welcomed with courtesy and compassion…not derision and scorn.

So, take your time, go home and rest, God knows how much you’ve earned it. When you are ready, we will be here…your sisters who want to see you succeed. I will be ready whenever you are.

  6. Sarah,

If it weren’t for you, me and my family would never have gotten behind McCain as we did.

You took the brunt of the media and liberal negative force and handled rigged interviews as well as anyone…and did so with courage and grace.

I hope you continue to be a voice for conservatives and a great role model for anyone interested in honest politics.

All the best to you and yours!

  7. I am lucky enough to listen to am. 12hrs. a day. listening too both sides sometimes am & fm. So palin’s clothes looked mainstream and cost 100+ thousand dollars. she looked applaudible in the mainstream clothing and even more applaudible as her self. it did not cost her 700 million to clothe herself, as someone clothed themselves with t.v. camera and scripts. You can’t buy integrity like hers.
    I’m new at this.

  10. Sarah you did well and we thank you for your untiring efforts in behalf of the McCain candidacy. The unjust attacks you are still receiving are from small minded people who fear your growing prominence in the Republican Party. We are with you!

    Comment by Rudy Forster — November 7, 2008 @ 12:05 am

  11. Sarah, thank you for showing us what the Republican Party is supposed to be about. I was privileged to have voted for you and for being able to attend one of your rallies. I am middle-class and don’t have a ton of money, but I will contribute what I can when you decide your next move. If you run for Pres in 2012, I will work for your campaign in NH at least on weekends.
I would also be proud to say the two words that liberals most fear: President Palin

  12. Without you as the VP nominee, I well might have voted for Bob Barr. Your are pro life - my first requirement……. and I loved you rreformer spirit and actions in Alaska. The big guys don’t want to see reform - they just would like to rightously talk about it………leaving everything as it is

  13. Dear Governor Sarah,
Ditto to all of the above positive comments. We’re thrilled to see you emerge out of the political dungheap we’re in. You’re a breath of fresh truth. Black & white in a sea of gray. I’m keeping my Sarah Tshirt to wear in 2012. Thanks for running and we’ll keep you in our prayers.
