Coburn, BOk and the Bailout
I’ve been catching up on some Oklahoma reading today and found this post at Batesline that adds important insight into why Coburn voted for the bailout…and took other Republican Senators with him. We sincerely need his voice demanding reason and accountability in the U.S. Senate, and I hope that he will reconsider his position as additional bailout requests are made and as irresponsible and untransparent decisions are made with the $700 billion he voted to hand over.
