The “Messiah”?
I hope all y’all are saved, because the end is near. It’s got to be, with all of this stuff going on…
A couple things that have cropped up this week, all dealing with the the Obamessiah.
First up, we have Louis Farrakhan–the Supreme Minister of the Nation of Islam here in the USA–has been allowed to speak at Obama’s church in Chicago. Not really a problem (well, at least, to the ‘Christians’ there anyway), except for the fact that he called Obama the Messiah.
Yes, you read that right.
Here’s the vido of him:
Next up, here’s a recent picture of the Obamessiah reading a rather interesting book:
If you click on the picture, it should pop up there big enough so that you can see what the book title is. If you can’t read it, it says The Post-American World.
This book, written by Fareed Zakaria, is an Islamic favorite, because it talks about the downfall of the United States of America–in fact, according to the book, it’s already started (and I’m fairly sure it’ll be complete if Obama wins this election)–and how the rest of the world will rise up. WHY are we headed toward irrelevance? Because of partisanship in our government, and how the rest of the world is rising up. Sure, we might still have military might, but that’s about it.
And lastly, probably the absolute worst of all, is this video:
Whenever a group of people (these are from California–surprise! surprise!) get together to create a Praise & Worship song for a political figure, well… I’d swear that there’s a problem with that.
Newsflash, moonbats and nutroots! OBAMA IS NOT THE MESSIAH! And for all you who are training your children up to believe this? I do not envy you, for you will bring upon yourself swift destruction (2 Peter 2:1), and there is a special level in Hell just for you.
For the rest of us, how do we tell who’s a false teacher? There’s several questions to ask about them:
- They appeal to our fleshly desires and senses, and not to doing right because God requires that of us. These are the people who claim that it’s OK to do whatever you want whenever you want, because we ourselves are our own God–we’re our own Heaven, we’re the end-all, be-all of life. See Galations 4:17, 2 Timothy 3:6, 2 Peter 2:3, 2 Peter 2:18, Revelation 2:14, and Revelation 2:20.
- False teachers attempt to control us by telling us to do things that they want us to do so that we’ll feel included. Things like ‘don’t wear white, or we’ll label you a racist to humiliate you and exclude you from the rest of society.’ See Acts 15:24, Galations 6:12, and Titus 1:10.
- False teachers are all air and no substance–yet their ‘beautiful’ words will eventually kill us all. Read Jude 12.
- False teachers will use their sweet words to separate us from what we know is right. They use colorful and enticing words to convince us that we need to change in order to be right. (Know any liberal like that?). Read 2 Peter 2:17.
- False teachers lie–very, very well. They’ll tell you they’re Christians, but in reality, they are far from it. They will attempt to destroy your faith and replace it with their version of it. They misrepresent the character of God (saying things like He’s jealous of you, that he hates homosexuals, that he dispises people who are not Christians, that he’s exclusionary, etc.).
There’s a whole lot more to learn about false teachers, but, in my own personal opinion, anyone who would write a praise and worship song to Obama… Anyone who would call Obama the Messiah… Well, they are false teachers, and will lead millions to spend eternity in Hell with them, unfortunately.
Guard your heart! Hide God’s word in it, so that you might not sin against Him.
And be at peace. The end is near.
God bless you!
