So Sarah’s Not An Idiot
I, of course, never thought she was–regardless of what the media may portray her as. And yesterday, she was awesome whenever she had a spontaneous press availability at Ground Zero.
Oh, how I love the little tête-à-tête she had with Politico about Rep Ted Stevens.
You might remember who Ted Stevens is. He’s the Alaskan Rep who has been indicted for corruption. And, apparently, he’s also re-running for his seat. Excuse me while I laugh hysterically. Ahem. Pardon me.
Anyway, when Politico asked her about it, she said that the trial had begun, and she’d wait to see how it played out before she made any comments. And then (snicker) Politico (snort) asked her if she was going to vote for him. (BWAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!). Sorry. I just think that’s funny. She didn’t even open her mouth, but I’ll bet she had a hard time not laughing about it.
But seriously, it’s extremely rude to ask someone who they’re going to vote for. Sure, you know who I’m voting for. I make no bones about how I feel about B Hussein Obama and his henchman Igor Biden. But that’s because I have chosen to do so. But it’s extremely unprofessional to ask someone who they’re going to vote for. If they offer the information up, well, hey. Great. If they don’t, it’s because they don’t think it’s any of your freaking business!
Anyway, back to Mr. Stevens. The LA Times has an interesting article on the trial. Go read it, if you want. If you don’t, well… That’s fine too. Basically, he’s been indicted for taking bribes gifts of about $250,000 from Bill Allen, the ex-CEO of VECO Corp, an Alaskan-based oilfield services company. Ted’s currently pleading not guilty. I would have added by reason of insanity on there, but hey. That’s just me. I mean, if I were going to get into the political arena, I’m fairly confident that I wouldn’t be so stupid as to get caught taking bribes. Kind of tarnished the old image there…
But I digress.
Anyway, so Saint Sarah appeared at Ground Zero, fielded some questions, and came off sounding like the intelligent person that I know she is. She didn’t stumble, didn’t mumble, didn’t do any of that. She just shot from the hip, and it was all good.
Kinda makes you wonder if her recent interviews actually went better than they were portrayed, then, doesn’t it? Surely the MM wouldn’t have removed key areas when they were butchering the interviews, so that they would run in the time allotted, right? Surely they wouldn’t intentionally make her sound like she wasn’t quite sure what she was talking about throughout most of the interviews, right? I mean, that’s not real journalism, when you don’t give the full picture.
Too bad we’ll never see the whole interviews, so that we can get a better idea of what she’s all about.
Fortunately, I already know everything I need to know about her. Everything else I learn is just icing on the cake.
McCain, you really need to let her out more. Unlike what Biden is doing for Obama, Sarah can do nothing but good things for you! You need to let the nation see her and bask in her glow as she gets this country back on track.
