Yesterday I pulled a triple feature, just so I could give you the skinny on the top flicks at the box office this weekend. Here’s what I found:

Terminator Salvation
I love the first Terminator movie. I love Christian Bale. But I found this flick to be depressing, predictable, and most of all, a bore. Honestly, I had trouble staying awake, and it was the first of the three films I saw in a row. It picked up the last ten minutes, though. Just not enough to make up for the previous 100 minutes. It always warms my heart when little Oklahoma makes the news and appalls our more edjumicated and culturized coastal kin with grit and determination to do what’s right rather than what’s PC. HCR 1028 may only be a gesture, but it’s a very pointy, very red white and blue middle finger sort of gesture. California ain’t the wild west. We is. (more…)
…Clinton is in town. He’s here for his third visit to the OKC National Memorial, but apparently his first tour of the museum itself. Call me naive, but I can’t help but hope it rocks his world and changes his life. I couldn’t make it through the whole museum myself…it’s a hard, hard place.
